Donald Trump’s ‘Pathetic’ Excuse For D.C. Primary Loss To Haley Is Mercilessly Mocked

Former President Donald Trump’s spin on dropping Sunday’s GOP presidential major in Washington, D.C. to Nikki Haley was summed up by many critics with one phrase, “pathetic.”

Following Trump’s first loss to Haley, the Republican 2024 front-runner’s marketing campaign stated “the swamp has claimed their queen” and claimed she solely received due to “the lobbyists and DC insiders that wish to shield the failed establishment.”

Trump himself then ranted on his Reality Social platform that he’d “purposely stayed away from the D.C. Vote as a result of it’s the ‘Swamp,’ with only a few delegates, and no upside.”

“Birdbrain spent all of her time, cash and energy there,” he continued, utilizing his derogatory nickname for his former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

“Over the weekend we received Missouri, Idaho, and Michigan – BIG NUMBERS – Full destruction of a really weak opponent. The actually large numbers will come on Tremendous Tuesday. Additionally, WAY UP ON CROOKED JOE!” he added.
